Please welcome the latest Footprint to join the family: “What a beauty!” 🌹✨. The sweetest ice breaker ever.
There are many ways to give someone a compliment on ROMEO. “What a beauty!” is for the poets and the romantics. Use it to tell someone that they made your heart skip a beat.
Here’s a note from our Chief Product Officer about this release:
It was important for me to grow our collection of Footprints that can be sent to all ROMEOs, regardless of gender. That made for quite a difficult task for our translators considering the majority of interface languages that we support are heavily gendered, but I’m very happy with the result! I hope that all of our beautiful community can benefit from this sweet new addition.
“What a beauty!” is already available in the ROMEO Android and iOS apps and on ROMEO.com.
Let the games begin
To celebrate the launch of “What a beauty!”, we’re giving away a one-year PLUS membership for free to one lucky ROMEO!
Entering this competition is super easy. All you have to do is send the “What a beauty!” Footprint to at least one person this Sunday and enter the draw to win. We will take into account all Footprints sent on Nov 27, 2022 between 0:00 and 23:59 CET. Winners will be chosen at random 🫣
A rose by any other name
The design was created by Alistair Stuart (aka Ali), the artist who redesigned our Footprints earlier this year. The rose illustration for “What a beauty!” perfectly brings out the softer sentiment behind the Footprint (*resists urge to make rosebud jokes*) 😜😩

Part of the redesign, several new Footprints were added to the collection to give users even more ways to start or continue a conversation. Today, “What a beauty!” joins that club.
Examples of the new Footprints are: “Send pics?”, “Threesome?”, “Nice feet” and most recently, “What a beauty!”
New feature alert!
You can now zoom in on Footprints when you receive them, thanks to a recent feature in ROMEO. If you’re second-guessing what a received Footprint means, just click or tap on it in the Visitors tab and a popup will give you more detail. This works across all ROMEO’s platforms!
‘Tis the season
Let’s not forget, the holiday season is right around the corner, so get ready for our seasonal Footprints! You’ll be seeing “Merry Christmas!”, “Season’s Greetings!”, and “Happy New Year” on the platform very soon 👀
