Hi sexy single! And welcome to the instructions page for how to create, and submit, your video!
We are creating an old school dating video to show the world the sexiest singles on ROMEO and we want you to take part!
Requirements
Create a video of 30 seconds to 1 minute, introducing yourself and telling us a little bit about you.
The video must be:
- Taken in portrait format only. This means with your phone in the vertical position, NOT horizontal.
- It must be against a plain background, with good lighting (daylight will always work well).
- Please make sure there is minimal background noise as this will make it harder to hear your lovely intros!

The first 5 - 10 seconds should be your name and where you are from, followed by answering TWO of the following questions:
- Your favourite food
- Your favourite colour
- Your favourite pastime
- Your star sign
- Your unique party trick
Then, please describe your ideal partner in 3 words! (Tricky we know!)
If you have time at the end of your video, you could tell us your idea of the perfect first date.
Submission
Once you have recorded your video, and are happy with the results, send it to us. A video, even a short one, is usually too big to send via email, so we suggest using wetransfer.com. This is a super easy way of sending large files, and you don’t need an account to do so! You simply upload your video to WeTransfer and put our dedicated email address ‘findmelove@romeo.com’ in the ‘Email to’ box.
In the ‘Title’ field, please write your ROMEO profile name, and in the ‘Message’ field, please include your name and a short message to us.
We will contact you if you have been selected to be featured.
Where will the video be shown?
We will feature the selected videos and a small bio of each ROMEO on our blog, with a link to the profile so you can be found.

- Deadline for video submission: midnight Central European Time, 31.01.22. (Unfortunately we cannot accept any submissions later than this time and date.)
- To be published on Valentine’s Day, 14th February 2022.
