Representing Germany this year at the Eurovision is the young and talented Malik Harris. With “Rockstars” - a highly personal and vulnerable song - Harris will be competing for the title of Eurovision’s next superstar. ROMEO spoke to the singer before the competition!

Harris’ journey to the Eurovision stage was one of patience and determination. It’s true that the German-American singer comes from a musical family, but he worked long and hard at developing his own sound and direction. He sings, raps, plays the guitar, and writes his own music. From a very young age, he had a clear idea about what kind of songs he wanted to make: so much so that he once parted ways with his management when they tried to change his artistic direction.
